Why hire a Coach?
On the General Coaching and Career Coaching pages you can get a feel for how coaching can have a positive impact on
your life. But, I thought a page dedicated to the simple question of “why” might be beneficial as well. We all know
people who live their whole lives and never hire a coach. They go through life, happy enough making enough money
and seem to be content. So then why would someone hire a coach if so many people get through life without one?
The answer is really quite simple. If a person really wants to grow in an area of their life, the most effective, efficient
way to affect that growth is through the process of working with a coach. By investing in someone thing can bring a new
perspective and new ideas to the table, you will be able to see things that you could never see before. A coach will also
hold you accountable; a plan will be made, goals will be set and your coach will expect you to execute that plan and
achieve those goals.
So many people have good intentions but never take the action necessary to drive their lives/careers/relationships to
the next level. They just continue to stay where they are at simply because they won’t pull the trigger and take the
initiative to the help that we all need to grow. I truly believe that everyone could benefit from being coaching in some
area (usually multiple areas) of their life. Just as you would hire a personal trainer (Fitness coach) to help get you in
shape, a finance coach or career coach can help you get those areas of life in shape as well.

The list can go on and on depending on the person and their needs. If you are feeling stuck or want some help and
guidance achieving some goals, then hiring a coach is probably just the thing you need.
