Career Coaching
While the lines between the different “types” of coaching can sometimes be fuzzy, I primarily work
with professional men in Career Coaching. I don’t carry a hard and fast definition of career coaching
but generally I will coach guys who:
Obviously this is not a complete list of every scenario that exists but I list it because I want to show
that you don’t have to be miserable in your job to get benefit from coaching. Sometimes I hear people
talk and they think that a person has to be down and out or at the complete bottom of the barrel before
they would need coaching. That is simply not true. In fact, if you are at a place where you are not
miserable and desperate, you are in a great position to really put a plan together to move to the next
level, what ever that may be.
As you may have read in the about me page, I have spent over 20 years of my life in corporate
America. I know what it is like to dread Monday mornings and to some degree hate Sunday nights
because I knew the countdown was on. Living like that can take a toll on you and your family; I know
it did mine.
The good news is that we are not meant to live like that. We are created to live a life full of hope and
purpose. That doesn’t mean that there won’t be rough times, there will be. But, dreading the very
thing that we spend most of our time doing does not make sense. We can all have meaningful work
that utilizes our God given skills and abilities. We can all break away from the drudgery that so many
of us live our lives in every day. I am passionate about helping people break out of that and
rediscover a life with purpose.

- Don’t hate their jobs but feel stuck – they don’t know where to go
- Like their jobs but want to prepare to move up within the company
- Want to move out of the corporate world into something else
- Want to start their own businesses
