Welcome to the Internet Marketing for Newbies area. This section will house all sorts of
information related to Internet Marketing and all that it is. If you are new or maybe have never
even heard of Internet Marketing, don't worry, this area is designed for you. When I cover a
topic, I write for an audience that is new to the subject.

The products or services could your own or you could market someone else's products(affiliate
marketing). The process and strategies are the same whether you are marketing your product
or someone else's. The only difference is that if it is your product you get the all of the money
when you make a sale versus a commission when you help generate a sale for someone else.
Obviously marketing has been around for ever right? T.V. commercials, radio
advertisements,advertisements in newspapers and magazines are all examples of marketing.
We are all familiar and see marketing material every day. The difference is that with Internet
Marketing, we will focusing on marketing via the Internet.
How does it work?
I will break this down in other pages on the site but basically, you want to find people on the
Internet that are looking for the particular product that you are marketing and then direct them
to the sales page for that product. This is done by either having website dedicated to that
particular product, writing articles that direct potential customers to the sales page or by
placing ads in Google or other search engines that direct potential customers to the product.
When one of the customers that you referred actually buys something, then you get a
commission. Of if you are selling your own product, then you get the sale.
Don't over-think this. It is really a simple concept of helping people on the Internet find
products that they are looking for.
Being an Internet Marketing Newbie, you will need to invest some time to really learning
the different methods of marketing so you can determine which one works best for you. You
may even need to invest a little money depending on which route you take. But, once you work
